Sonatrach Corporation has announced the results of the selection competition held in the wilayas of El Oued, Bejaia, Algiers, Skikda, Boumerdes, and Oran, during the period from December 30, 2023, to January 3, 2024.
In a statement published on Tuesday, March 19, the corporation stated that the results of this competition have led to the selection of 880 candidates according to the merit ranking, who will be gradually summoned to complete the administrative procedures for appointment by the relevant authority.
Regarding the remaining positions for which no candidates meeting the required conditions were found, they will be programmed within the recruitment plan for the current year, the statement adds.
It is worth recalling that this employment competition at Sonatrach was organized by the corporation to fill 1265 job positions in the production and administrative facilities located in the aforementioned wilayas. A total of 4459 candidates participated in the competition, with a participation rate of 82% compared to the total number of invitations issued by the National Employment Agency through the OGC digital platform, which amounted to 5464 invitations to participate in this competition according to the same source.
